That Disney turns 100 means, among other things, that there are already many generations that have grown up with its movies. And, predictably, that a company that has its own amusement parks was not going to miss the opportunity to celebrate this centenary in style. For this reason, after having passed through London, Berlin and Paris, the magical universe of some of his films will land in the capital in the form of an immersive exhibition.
With the value of friendship between its characters as its central axis, the exhibition Disney, The Power of Friendship: The Experience can be visited at Ibercaja-Delicias space in Madrid (calle de la Batalla del Salado, 49) between September 15 and 24.
Specifically, there will be more than 1,000 m² and four rooms inspired by four of the Disney classics: Alice in Wonderland, The Lion King, Lilo & Stitch and mickey and his friends.
What will the Disney expo be like?
According to a company press release, it will be an immersive tour in which Disney characters “will come to life” thanks to augmented reality, there will be multi-sensory activities and “many surprises.” For example, in the room dedicated to Alice in Wonderland the public you can enter the Mysterious Garden and follow the footsteps of the protagonist through the burrow.
The rest of the rooms recreate the tropical atmosphere of Lilo & Stitchthe jungle of The Lion King and in that of mickey and his friends Visitors will find life-size figures of the characters, which have movement sensors and activate an animation when contacting the attendees.
As a curiosity, at the beginning of the experience the public will be provided (by groups) with an electronic key that will follow its route during the visit and, upon reaching the end, “will reveal its type of friendship and its similarity with the friendship of iconic Disney characters”.

Tickets for the exhibition They can be purchased from July 29 and will be priced at €20. The exhibition hours will be from 12:00 to 22:00.
Other exhibitions coming to Madrid in September
